You can book online or call us to reserve a table and discuss any requirements you may have. Memories is an oasis of comfort; a return to the origins of hospitality. It is a conscious haven of peace that combines uncompromising quality, style and nature. As Sven Wassmer’s signature restaurant, Memories perfectly encapsulates his philosophy, reflecting his astute understanding of produce, innovation and seasonality. His new Swiss alpine cuisine is authentic and in tune with nature.

The menu that we offer is therefore seasonal rather than à la carte. Choose between seven courses (from CHF 279), nine courses (from CHF 329) or eleven courses (from CHF 379) packed with evocative taste experiences, and select coordinating wines from our list (from CHF 169).

What can I expect?

How long can we expect the dining experience to take?

We recommend that you allow at least three and a half hours for your visit. We want to offer you a quality experience – take your time and enjoy it to the full.

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately we are not able to allow any type of animal in the restaurant

Is there a dress code?

Our main aim is to ensure that you feel relaxed and content. In keeping with this aim, we want you to feel comfortable in what you are wearing. For this reason, we do not have a dress code.

Are children allowed?

At Memories, we are delighted to welcome children aged 12 and over. Because our operations and timings in the kitchen are so precisely defined, we are unable to provide a separate children’s tasting menu. However, we would be happy to prepare some child-friendly dishes if you request them when booking. We look forward to delighting young connoisseurs with the natural taste and quality of our food.

What can we expect from the tasting menu?

Our menu offers up to 19 different taste experiences, served in different courses. It is a story put together by Sven Wassmer using his food memories. We incorporate the finest local produce and believe in working closely with regional suppliers. For example, we only serve organic vegetables, grown locally in Pratval. But Sven Wassmer’s dishes and some of the methods he uses also reflect the fact that he has travelled widely; he uses techniques and products from faraway lands. Even here, however, the relationship with the producer is of the utmost importance. We use fresh ingredients, harvested at their peak. This requires us to adapt our menu over the course of the year, but makes our ideas all the more spontaneous and delicious. We hope you enjoy the surprises in store.

I have a dietary requirement. Can I still book a table?

Due to the nature of our menu, we are unable to accommodate all food requirements. However, we do offer a vegetarian menu, and all dishes can be served gluten-free. Please let us know of any requirements in advance and we will try to adapt the menu to your needs as best we can.
